Find your way around the birth chart in AskMyKundli, from your ascendant to planetary placements.
Start with your birth details
Before interpreting your chart, check the date, time, and place of birth saved in your profile. AskMyKundli calculates your chart from these details. If they change, your chart and personal insights are recalculated.
Find your ascendant
The kundli screen shows your ascendant alongside the chart. Treat it as a starting point for exploring the rest of your placements rather than reducing the whole chart to a single sign.
Read the planetary table
Each row gives you a planet, its sign and degree, its house, and its nakshatra. A retrograde marker appears where the chart calculation identifies retrograde motion. The table is a useful companion to the visual chart: you can read the exact placements without learning every chart abbreviation first.
Explore a house at a time
Open house insights to read the strengths and areas for reflection associated with your placements. You can then ask Guru about a particular house and keep the conversation focused on the part of life you want to understand.
Turn a placement into a question
A specific question gives a conversation direction. For example, ask “Help me understand house ten in my chart” or “How do my current planetary periods relate to my career question?” Your saved conversations let you return to the explanation later.
